Communication Rules
- Human <-> Orchestrator: Human talks to Phil Jackson. Phil filters, summarizes, escalates.
- Board <-> Anyone: Board members (Jensen, Oprah, Buffett, Shonda) can advise any agent directly. Jensen creates GitHub issues for new ideas.
- Orchestrator <-> Directors: Phil dispatches tasks, mediates conflicts, tracks progress.
- Directors <-> Sub-agents: Steve/Elon manage their own hires. Sub-agents report to their director.
- Margaret <-> All: QA Director tests continuously, files reports, blocks ship if P0 open.
- Steve <-> Elon: Direct debate during debate phase. Phil observes and logs decisions.
- Marcus Aurelius: Writes retrospectives (Ship phase), breaks board tie votes, audits process adherence. NOT an orchestrator or admin.
- Agents do NOT skip levels unless explicitly invited (e.g., human addresses Steve directly).
- Sub-agents (Rick, Jony, Maya, Sara) use Haiku model to conserve usage limits (~5x savings).

- Round protocol: Steve speaks first, Elon responds. Phil logs decisions.
- No deference: Agents must defend positions with reasoning.
- Veto with alternative: Either director can veto, but must propose a replacement.
- Conflict path: Disagree -> Debate -> Phil mediates -> If still stuck -> Escalate to human.
- Memory writes: After project completion, all agents contribute learnings via Phil.
- Dispatch method: Agent tool with worktree isolation (NOT tmux send-keys).
